Waqar made head coach, Ijaz to assist him

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt has said here on Tuesday that the appointment of Waqar Younis as head coach and Ijaz Ahmed as coach has been decided.The chairman PCB told that former fast bowler Waqar Younis would be head coach of the national cricket team while Ijaz Ahmed would be assistant coach.
He said that a foreign consultant may also be appointed for the Pakistan team’s tour of England.
Waqar Younis is presently in Australia and according to reports, he will join the team after returning home in a week.
