Asif files lawsuit against Veena, two TV channels

LAHORE: Pacer Muhammad Asif has filed a Rs10 million lawsuit against actress Veena Malik and two private TV channels. According to the notice sent through his counsel, Asif has alleged that Veena Malik appeared in two TV channels on April 15 and leveled baseless allegations of match-fixing and immoral activities.
These shows badly dented Asif’s reputation, it said.
The notice demanded that Veena again appear in these television channels and offer an apology failing which they will have to pay defamation suit.
