Modi resigns after IPL final match

Modi
resigns after IPL final match MUMBAI: this is likely that Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi would not be sacked but he would himself resign from his position.

Indian media claims that Modi would resign after the final match of the IPL.

According to Indian media, match fixing and betting is on the rise in the Indian Premier League while many doubts have also been expressed in the Income Tax report regarding the IPL.

Increase in Lalit’s assets has also been termed astonishing in the report.

As per media reports, Lalit’s fate would be decided in the Indian cricket board meeting on May 2 but there are also reports that Modi would resign himself after the IPL final.

The final match of the IPL will be played on April 25.
